She has given a TED talk – “The Space Between Self-Esteem and Self-Compassion” – and travels nationally and internationally to offer seminars on the research on the benefits of self-compassion as well as workshops for learning and developing self-compassion in practice.
Dr. Neff serves as Associate Professor Human Development and Culture in the Educational Psychology Department at the University of Texas at Austin, where she continues to develop the research on self-compassion.
