Ted Isensee Treasurer

Ted Isensee is a CPA with experience as a financial and accounting executive in a variety of industries and companies.

He is also an officer and volunteer in several Houston nonprofit organizations including Unity of Houston, Toastmasters and NAMI. He is a co-founder and President of the Isensee Foundation for Safe Police Response (IFSPR).

Ted has served as treasurer of Compassionate Houston Inc for about 4 years. He appreciates the independence of compassion from any ideological dogma, which draws people together, and is especially resonant with Compassionate Houston’s aim of networking with partners for synergy in solving community needs.

Ted and his wife, Debbie Isensee (an interior designer and remodeling specialist), live in Cypress where they see their two granddaughters and son Austin Isensee frequently.

One of Ted’s hobbies is beekeeping, which he learned from his grandfather as a child. Now he gets to pass on some of that knowledge to his grandchildren, who have more honey than they can ever eat.
