Martin B. Cominsky, President & CEO of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, will moderate compelling personal stories of compassion in our community. A panel of local, esteemed artists, Sneha Bhavsar (Visual Artist), Kenneth Gayle (Tenor), and Robin Davidson (Poet), has nominated artistic candidates in the visual, musical, and literary arenas as Compassionate Houston Artists of the Year. We will recognize these artists whose creative abilities help others empathically identify with people and situations different from their own.

Compassion is strong.

It becomes transformative when empathy, agency, and wisdom align in brave action. Never has compassion been more called upon. Join us to learn how Houston area artists and community leaders are transforming Houston’s Culture of Compassion.

Be inspired by the initiative and courage of our fellow Houstonians.

We are the most diverse city in the US. We belong to each other.

Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.
