FORGIVENESS - HOPE - RESILIENCE
A CONVERSATION WITH ANTHONY RAY HINTON Tuesday, September 22nd 6pm
A story of hope and healing after a wrongful conviction and imprisonment
As a co-sponsor of the Jung Center of Houston’s event, we are proud to promote a virtual evening with Anthony Ray Hinton, who will share his experience as a 30-year death row inmate for a crime he did not commit.
Mr. Hinton’s bestselling memoir The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row was an Oprah Book Club choice in 2018, and in 2019, Ray was a character in the movie, Just Mercy, a thought-provoking true story of lawyer Bryan Stevenson and his history-making battle for justice.
Meet Ray Hinton and hear his incredible story of race, justice, faith, and resilience.
You can join the live-streamed event for free as a friend. And as this is the Jung Center’s fundraiser, donation and underwriting options are available at various levels.
Early underwriters will attend an intimate visit with Mr. Hinton following the event. Space is very limited, so register now at this link.
This is a unique opportunity for our community to come together to address some challenging topics during a critical moment in our history. Thank you so much for considering to joining the event.
