Omen
The movie "Omen" directed by Baloji is a thought-provoking film that explores various themes through a captivating storyline. It tells the story of a young Congolese man who returns to his home country after many years of living abroad. As he navigates the complexities of his past and present, he finds himself caught up in a world of political turmoil, cultural clashes, and personal introspection.
Through stunning visuals, compelling performances, and a mix of different cinematic styles, "Omen" takes viewers on a journey that delves into issues such as identity, colonialism, and the impact of globalization on African societies.
