In June of 2021, we celebrated Compassionate Houston's 10th Anniversary and honored our founder, the Rev Betty Adam in a colorful and warm hearted program “Compassion Through the Arts”.

As part of Compassion Week 2020, we came together in our hearts with a shared vision of a unified and compassionate world.

In recognition of the Charter for Compassion's 10th anniversary, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner signs a Proclamation, declaring November 12, 2019, the “Charter for Compassion 10th Anniversary Day in Houston.”
