Sneha Bhavsar
Sneha Bhavsar is a professional visual artist whose work highlights our human connections - across history, cultures, and continents. She has committed her professional and personal pursuits to cultivating an appreciation for social and cultural diversity.
Sneha has been awarded grants by the City of Houston to create public art projects which celebrate cultural diversity within the greater Houston area. By combining her love of creating art with her aspirations to serve her community, Sneha organized a charity art auction that raised funds to incorporate free, high-quality, afterschool art education in Houston public schools.
Sneha currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Culture and Arts Board in the City of Bellaire and has served on the board of Houston Children Give Back. In 2020 she founded the Kind Cards initiative, which engages youth in promoting compassion by distributing postcards with original art and messages of kindness to neighborhood residents.
Sneha has a passion for international travel and exploring US national parks with her family. She enjoys all things related to nature - including camping, hiking, and gardening. As a member of Compassionate Houston, Sneha continues to dedicate her time and efforts to promoting compassion-focused projects throughout Houston.
